Perk! opened in 2015 as "an independent community cafe with a focus on locally sourced coffee and food," according to their website. Besides having incredible coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches, Perk! has created a welcoming space for all with goodies from at least a dozen local vendors, from Jones'In For A Treat dog treats and Cirrus Vodka's cocktail mixers to handmade cards, mugs, and jewelry.


Perk! is without a doubt our favorite local coffee spot (you can probably catch Retex's Josh Lewis here at least three times a week!), and we wish them continued success as they keep creating delicious food, lattes, and community.

Through Owens Corning’s Roof Deployment Project, we were able to install a new roof for Daniel Carver and his family at no charge on Tuesday, Jan. 21 in Spotsylvania, VA. As an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor, we supplied the labor and Owens Corning donated the materials for this new roof replacement.
