Helping Richmond Habitat's Restore – July 2024 Volunteer Day

She cleaned and sanitized  sofas, chairs, and end tables for resale and unpacked multiple donation boxes, including a whole set of beautiful Lenox china. 

Habitat ReStores accept donations on a rolling basis to both make high-quality materials more affordable and accessible to local communities and divert furniture and other reusable household items from landfills, according to Habitat’s website.The sales generated help Habitat for Humanity partner with local families to “build, rehabilitate and repair safe and affordable homes” in their communities while also benefiting the environment.
