Happy Presidents' Day from the Retex team!
Originally created to commemorate President George Washington on his birthday (Feb 22), Presidents' Day was moved to the third Monday of February by U.S. Congress as part of the 1971 Uniform Monday Holiday Act – an endeavor to create more three-day holiday weekends for America's workers – to honor Washington and all presidents, past and present, who have led our nation for nearly 250 years.
Today, we celebrate and honor the leaders and history of our country. Happy Presidents' Day!
