This homeowner got the memo about prepping his chimney for Santa!

This North Chesterfield homeowner reached out to RETEX in March 2024 for an estimate for a new roof after seeing one of our trucks in his neighborhood. Spoiler alert, he lives in Surreywood – just like RETEX’s Josh & Katelyn Lewis and Mark Erickson!


After meeting with Mark, he decided to go forward with us for replacing his roof and repointing and recapping his chimney, the latter of which is showcased here. 


Chimney repointing fixes the mortar seals between the bricks of your chimney. Even the best mortar seals last about 25-30 years. If left unattended, you may end up with a leaky chimney and, worst-case scenario, a structural collapse.
