Retex's Josh Lewis Teaches Local 7th Graders All About Drones
On Wednesday, Retex’s Josh Lewis was invited to teach STEAM students at Henderson Middle School all about drones!
He presented information on drone technology, how and why drones are used, and how we apply drones to our business to LINKS-NSBE JR 7th graders. And then, the fun part: He was able to demonstrate how to fly our DJI Mavic Air 2 drone for the students outside, and even gave them the chance to pilot.
Thank you to our neighbor and client Ms. Lanier for inviting us to participate, and to Sgt. Reese of the Richmond Police Department and Ms. Ann-Frances Lambert of Dronescape Films for rounding out the presentation for these eager students.
We love educating and strongly believe in continuous learning, so it was awesome to be able to give back to our community by teaching the next potential generation of drone pilots.
